How to pledge a contribution in Nyocte
Pledge a contribution to a Nyocte group collection. Record the amount you promise and check the outstanding pledge.

Follow the steps
- Make a promise to contribute
Open Finances, then tap New pledge.
- Check the collection and person
Choose Myself for your own pledge.
- Enter your pledge amount
This example promises one hundred dollars.
- Save your pledge
A due date is optional. Scroll to Save pledge.
- Open the collection
Check that the promise was saved.
- A pledge is not a payment
The full amount remains until payment is recorded.

A pledge records what you plan to contribute. In Contributions, tap New pledge.
Check the collection. Choose Myself when making your own pledge.
Enter your amount. In this example, we pledge one hundred dollars toward the reunion.
You can set a due date. When ready, scroll to Save pledge and tap it.
Open the collection to check your saved pledge.
The pledge is saved, with one hundred dollars left. A pledge is a promise; no money has been received yet.
