How these groups meet
What matters is everything around the call.
A congregation meets more than once a week: the prayer group on Tuesday, the women's fellowship, the youth, the building committee, the choir, and the pastoral council. Many members are elders who join from a phone, and some are abroad and join at odd hours.
Faith groups need a meeting that is easy to join and private by default. Nyocte gives each fellowship a group with its own meetings, a waiting room so the host admits who belongs, and a record of attendance, decisions, and contributions kept with the group rather than in a chat that scrolls away.

Before you start

Do our fellowship members need an account to join?
No. Members and guests open the meeting link in a browser, enter their name, check their camera and microphone, and join. Only the host needs a Nyocte account, created in the mobile app.
Is there a time limit?
Nyocte does not cut a meeting off at a fixed time. Plan the length you need and end it when you are done.
Can we keep a meeting private?
Yes. Schedule it with a password, turn on the waiting room so the host admits participants, and lock the room once everyone is in.
Can we record a service or a teaching for members who missed it?
Meetings can be recorded by the host, and access to the recording follows the member's role in the group. For large public services, Nyocte's live broadcast is the better tool.
