For associations, unions, and hometown groups
Online meetings for associations: agenda, attendance, votes, minutes
Hold your association's meetings and general assembly online with Nyocte. Members join from a browser, attendance is taken, decisions are voted, and the minutes stay with the group.
Hosts connect their browser with the Nyocte mobile app. Guests join without an account.
How these groups meet
What matters is everything around the call.
A hometown association, a professional union, a cultural association: they all run on meetings. Monthly meetings for the executive, a general assembly once or twice a year, and the occasional emergency sitting when something needs deciding. Members are spread across cities and often across countries, so the meeting is increasingly online.
What goes wrong is rarely the video. It is what surrounds it: the link that half the members cannot find, the attendance nobody wrote down, the vote that was 'agreed' but never recorded, and the minutes that live on the secretary's laptop. Nyocte puts the meeting inside the group, so the agenda, attendance, votes, and minutes are kept where every member can see them.

- 01
Schedule from the group.
Create the meeting inside your association's group with a title, date, time, and agenda. Members get the invitation and a reminder in the language they use.
- 02
Meet in the browser.
Members and guests join from a browser with their name. Take attendance as they arrive. The host mutes, admits, and locks the room as needed.
- 03
Decide and record.
Run votes with a quorum, write the minutes on the meeting, assign follow-up tasks with owners. Members who missed it read the record and watch the recording.

- 05
Recordings for members who missed it, with access controlled by the host and the member's role.

የተለመዱ ጥያቄዎች
Do our association members need an account to join?
No. Members and guests open the meeting link in a browser, enter their name, check their camera and microphone, and join. Only the host needs a Nyocte account, created in the mobile app.
Is there a time limit?
Nyocte does not cut a meeting off at a fixed time. Plan the length you need and end it when you are done.
Can we hold a general assembly with quorum online?
Yes. Attendance is recorded on the meeting, and votes carry a quorum threshold and a deadline, so the assembly's decisions are on record with who was present and how the vote went.
What if some members can only join by phone?
The invitation link works on any phone's browser and in the Nyocte mobile app. Members without data at that moment can vote later, before the deadline, from the app.
