For alumni groups, year groups, and old-student associations
Online meetings for alumni associations spread across the world
Run your alumni or old-student association online with Nyocte: meetings members join from any country, votes on projects, contribution records for the reunion or the scholarship fund, and minutes that stay with the group.
Hosts connect their browser with the Nyocte mobile app. Guests join without an account.
How these groups meet
What matters is everything around the call.
An alumni association is the most scattered group there is. The class of a Yaoundé lycée or a Nairobi university now lives in Douala, Paris, Houston, and Dubai. It meets online by necessity, usually across five time zones, and it exists to do things together: the reunion, the scholarship fund, the school library, the visit to a sick classmate.
The WhatsApp group keeps everyone in touch and loses every decision. Nyocte gives the association a group where meetings are scheduled with the time zone visible to each member, decisions are voted with a deadline so nobody is excluded by the clock, and the fund's contributions are recorded beside the meeting that decided them.

- 01
Schedule for five time zones.
Create the meeting in the group. Each member sees the time in their own zone and gets a reminder. Guests such as a school principal join with a link.
- 02
Meet, then decide over a few days.
Discuss live, then open a vote with a deadline and quorum so classmates in other time zones decide from their phone before it closes.
- 03
Fund the project on record.
Set up a contribution record for the reunion or the scholarship, and keep it in the same group. Every classmate sees the total and their own status.
What you get
The meeting, and everything that goes with it.
- 01
Guests join from a browser with their name. No account, no download.
- 02
Meet now, or schedule with a title, date, time, duration, and invited guests. Add a password or a waiting room when you need one.
- 03
Votes with deadlines and quorum, so members who could not attend can still decide.
- 04
Group meetings carry an agenda, attendance, and minutes, so the record is written where the meeting happened.
- 05
Recordings for members who missed it, with access controlled by the host and the member's role.
- 06
Contribution records for reunions, scholarships, and welfare, kept with the group.
- 07
The app is available in more than 40 languages, so every member reads the invitation in their own.

የተለመዱ ጥያቄዎች
Do our alumni members need an account to join?
No. Members and guests open the meeting link in a browser, enter their name, check their camera and microphone, and join. Only the host needs a Nyocte account, created in the mobile app.
Is there a time limit?
Nyocte does not cut a meeting off at a fixed time. Plan the length you need and end it when you are done.
How do we handle members who never join live?
Record the meeting, keep the minutes on it, and run decisions as votes with a deadline. Members who join nothing live can still read, watch, and vote.
Can the association collect money through Nyocte?
The association keeps the record in Nyocte; members can pay the way they already do and the treasurer records it. Where in-app payments are available they are processed by a licensed provider and can carry fees.
