Choose one thing to accomplish

A good first meeting has a simple purpose: agree on the next event, catch up with family, or settle one open question. Send that purpose with the invitation so people know why to join. A meeting with one clear outcome ends on time and leaves people willing to come back.

Start now or schedule ahead

Create your account in the Nyocte mobile app if you are new. To use the web app, open Settings → Linked Devices on your phone and scan the browser login QR code. Then open Meetings.

  • Meet now starts a personal meeting immediately and gives you its invitation link. You do not need to create a group first.
  • Schedule creates a meeting for later. Add a title, date, time, and duration. You can add guest email addresses and choose whether to send invitations. Scheduled meetings can include a password.

Make the invitation easy to use

Share the join link in the conversation your guests already use: the family WhatsApp group, the committee email thread, or a text message. Include the purpose, the time and time zone if scheduled, and the password if you set one. Guests enter their name and join from a browser without creating an account.

  • Copy the actual meeting link, not the address of your Meetings list.
  • Ask guests to allow microphone and camera access when prompted.
  • Allow a moment for guests to check their camera and microphone on the preview screen.
  • If you enable a waiting room in host controls, be ready to admit guests.

Run the room

As host you can mute participants, admit people from the waiting room, lock the meeting once everyone has arrived, and share your screen from a computer. Keep the first meeting short. Thirty minutes is enough for one decision.

Finish with a next step

Before ending, agree on who will do what next and when you will meet again. If this becomes a recurring group activity, create an association or club group so agendas, tasks, and decisions stay together between meetings.

Do my guests need a Nyocte account?

No. Guests open your meeting link in a browser, enter their name, check their camera and microphone, and join. A password or host admission may be required if you turn those controls on.

Do I need an account to host?

Yes. Create your account in the Nyocte mobile app, then connect your browser from Settings → Linked Devices. Open Meetings and choose Meet now or Schedule.

Is there a time limit or a participant limit?

Personal meetings are free to host. Limits depend on your group's access; most community meetings fit comfortably.
