Schedule a private meeting with a password and a waiting room

Schedule instead of meeting now

Open Meetings in Nyocte and choose Schedule. Give the meeting a title that says what it is for, set the date, start time, and duration, and add a short description with the purpose and the agenda.

Invite guests by email or by link

Add the email addresses of guests who should receive an invitation, and choose whether Nyocte sends it. You can also copy the meeting link and share it yourself in the group, on WhatsApp, or in an email you write.

Add a password

Set a password when the meeting is not for everyone who might see the link. Share the password separately from the link, for example in the group where only members are. Guests enter it on the join screen.

Turn on the waiting room

With the waiting room on, participants wait after entering their name until the host admits them. Use it for members-only meetings, or when you want to control who is in the room before you start.

Lock the room once everyone is in

Once the expected participants are present, lock the room from the host controls. Nobody else can join, even with the link. Unlock it if someone is expected late.

Use the other host controls as needed

Mute a noisy participant, mute everyone before a presentation, share your screen from a computer, and end the meeting for all when you are done. The recording, if you started one, is available to members according to their role.
